I get it, life doesn’t always feel like it flows with ease. Sometimes we can feel stuck in our minds, bodies, and emotions, reliving the pain of the past, fearing the future, and feeling like we are unable to manage areas of our lives. Maybe sometimes we wish that life could just feel better…
We have no control over life’s challenges, and while stress and anxiety are a natural part of life, if we do not learn how to manage this, over time we can be left feeling overwhelmed, and out of control, and it’s likely that more severe mental and physical health complications can arise.
So imagine for a moment the ideal version of you…
A version of you who feels grounded and present, more in control of your emotional regulation. Living more in accordance with who you truly want to be, feeling like you have the power and confidence to take on all of life’s challenges with ease, and feeling like you are living your best in both body and mind.
I share this practice with you because I know how profoundly yoga can transform people’s lives. Having spent the first 26 years of my life, stressed, anxious, addicted, and suicidal, I have direct experience of feeling stuck, out of control, and overwhelmed. But from applying yoga’s physical and spiritual teachings and practices to my life, a continual transformation of growth continues to shift my experience and perception of my existence, enabling me to move through life with more ease, feeling more regulated, present, and grateful.
My mission as a yoga teacher is to share with you the tools that I have learned that have helped me move out of my shadow and into my light, enabling me to see life a with fresh perspective. I want to help you sit more comfortably with yourself, both literally and figuratively, and to show you how the teachings of yoga can help you live your life better and enable you to grow into the best version of yourself.
The Ashtanga method is a specific sequence of postures with a strong emphasis on syncing breath with movement. It is a dynamic all round practice designed to build strength, flexibility and stamina in both body and mind.
