Ayurvedic Consultations in Weston-super-Mare & Online
I created my Ayurvedic practice for people who are looking for a gentler, more personalised approach to supporting their health and wellbeing.
Perhaps you’re struggling with poor sleep, digestive issues, low energy, stress, hormonal changes, or simply feel like you’ve lost touch with what your body needs.
Or maybe you’re tired of trying generic health advice that never seems to fit your life.
Ayurveda offers a different approach. Rather than searching for a quick fix, it helps us understand the patterns, habits and daily routines that influence our health, so we can make realistic, sustainable changes that support us over time.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a traditional healthcare system from India that focuses on supporting health through everyday habits, including food, sleep, movement, rest and daily routines.
One of the things I love most about Ayurveda is that it recognises there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellbeing. What helps one person feel their best may not be the right approach for somebody else.
Rather than following rigid rules, Ayurveda encourages us to become more aware of our own body, understand what influences our health, and make choices that support us as individuals.

Is an Ayurvedic consultation right for me?
People often book an Ayurvedic consultation because they’re looking for a more personalised way to support their health.
You might be experiencing:
- Ongoing stress or burnout
- Digestive problems
- Poor sleep
- Low energy or fatigue
- Hormonal changes
- Feeling disconnected from your body
- Difficulty creating healthy routines
- A desire to better understand your health and wellbeing
You don’t need to know anything about Ayurveda before booking. We’ll explore everything together in a practical and accessible way.
What happens during an Ayurvedic consultation?
Every consultation is tailored to you.
We’ll explore your current health, lifestyle, daily routines and the challenges you’re experiencing, helping us build a picture of what may be influencing your wellbeing.
Together we’ll discuss areas such as:
- your current health concerns
- digestion
- sleep
- energy levels
- stress
- daily routines
- eating habits
- work and lifestyle
Where appropriate, I’ll also introduce Ayurvedic concepts, such as doshas, in a simple and practical way to help you better understand your own body.
Following your consultation, you’ll receive personalised recommendations which may include guidance around food, daily routines, seasonal habits, yoga, relaxation practices and lifestyle changes that are realistic for your life.
The aim isn’t to give you another set of rules to follow. It’s to help you understand yourself more deeply and make changes that feel supportive and sustainable.
My approach
Like everything I teach, my approach to Ayurveda is centred around compassion rather than perfection.
I know how easy it is to feel like you’re constantly trying to fix yourself or force your body to behave differently.
Ayurveda has taught me something very different.
It has helped me understand that lasting wellbeing often comes from learning to listen to our bodies, understanding what they need, and working with them rather than constantly pushing against them.
That philosophy shapes every consultation I offer.

My Ayurvedic Healing Journey
Ayurveda has been a deeply important part of my own journey.
For many years, I lived with a combination of chronic health challenges, including endometriosis, chronic fatigue and CPTSD. Like many people living with long-term health conditions, I spent years searching for ways to better understand my body and support my wellbeing.
Through yoga and Ayurveda, I gradually developed a different relationship with my health.
Rather than constantly fighting symptoms or feeling frustrated by what my body couldn’t do, I began learning how lifestyle, stress, digestion, rest and daily rhythms all influence how we feel.
That shift didn’t make life perfect, but it gave me practical tools to work with my body instead of constantly feeling at war with it.
During my training, I also spent time in India undertaking Panchakarma, a traditional Ayurvedic cleansing and rejuvenation programme. Experiencing these principles within their traditional setting gave me an even deeper appreciation of Ayurveda and continues to influence the way I practise and teach today.
I documented parts of that journey in a short video series if you’d like to learn more about what Panchakarma involves and what it was like to experience it firsthand.

Ayurveda describes the wholesome v. unwholesome and happy v. unhappy life and its measures1
Life (Ayu) is the combination of body, senses, mind and reincarnating soul. Ayurveda is the most sacred science
of life, beneficial to humans both in this world and the world beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know anything about Ayurveda before booking?
Not at all. Many people come to me with little or no knowledge of Ayurveda. I’ll explain everything in a practical and accessible way, so there’s no need to learn any terminology beforehand.
What happens during a consultation?
We’ll explore your current health, lifestyle, daily routines and any challenges you’re experiencing. Together we’ll look at areas such as sleep, digestion, energy, stress and nutrition before discussing practical recommendations that are tailored to your individual needs.
Will I receive a personalised plan?
Yes. Following your consultation, you’ll receive personalised recommendations based on our discussion. These may include guidance around food, daily routines, lifestyle habits, yoga, relaxation practices and other supportive changes that feel realistic for your life.
Do I have to change everything at once?
Definitely not. I don’t believe lasting wellbeing comes from trying to overhaul your entire life overnight. We’ll focus on practical, sustainable changes that feel manageable, building on them over time if and when you’re ready.
Do you recommend herbs or supplements?
Sometimes, but not always. Ayurveda is about much more than herbs. Many people benefit from simple changes to their daily routines, eating habits, sleep, stress management and lifestyle. If herbal support is appropriate for you, we’ll discuss it during your consultation.
Can Ayurveda support long-term health?
One of the central aims of Ayurveda is to support health before illness develops. It does this by helping us understand how our food, daily routines, sleep, stress and lifestyle influence our wellbeing.
As an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Advisor, my role is to help you apply these principles in a practical and personalised way. I don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions, but I can help you develop habits that support your overall health and complement any medical care you’re receiving.
Are consultations available online?
Yes. Consultations are available both online and in person in Weston-super-Mare, so you can choose whichever feels most convenient for you.
How many consultations will I need?
That depends on your goals. Some people book a single consultation for clarity and practical guidance, while others benefit from ongoing support as they gradually introduce changes into their daily lives. We’ll discuss what feels most appropriate for you.
What if I struggle to stick to routines?
You’re not alone. Many of the people I work with have spent years feeling frustrated because they couldn’t maintain rigid health routines. My approach isn’t about perfection or strict rules. It’s about understanding your life, your body and your circumstances, then finding realistic ways to support your wellbeing that you can actually sustain.
